FAQ Section
What is soul-level psychotherapy?
Soul-level psychotherapy is my style of psychotherapy, based on my training in Relational Gestalt Psychotherapy, a relational, experiential form of therapy that goes beneath thoughts and coping strategies to explore deeper emotional and relational patterns. It focuses on what’s happening in the present moment — in your body, in your energy, in your emotions and in your internal world — to support real, long-term change.
How is nutritional therapy different?
Nutritional therapy focuses on supporting your physical health, energy, digestion, sleep and stress resilience through personalised nutrition, lifestyle changes and functional medicine principles. You can choose this pathway on its own, or integrate therapy if emotional or behavioural patterns are affecting your wellbeing.
Can I do both psychotherapy and nutritional therapy together?
Yes. Some clients start with one pathway and add the other when it feels right. Some work with both from the beginning. We decide together based on your needs, preferences and goals.
I’m not sure which pathway I need. Can you help me decide?
Absolutely. If you’re unsure where to start, we can talk through what you’re experiencing and choose the most supportive starting point. Many people begin with the area that feels most pressing — symptoms or emotional patterns — and evolve from there.
What happens in a psychotherapy session?
Sessions last 50 minutes and often involve slowing down, noticing what’s happening in your body and emotions, exploring patterns and connecting with parts of yourself you may not usually access. The work is relational, grounded and led by your experience in the moment.
What happens in a nutritional therapy session?
In nutritional therapy, we explore your health history, symptoms, daily habits, energy, digestion, sleep, stress and lifestyle. From there we create a personalised plan that supports your goals. Recommendations are always realistic and tailored — never restrictive or overwhelming. We can also explore functional testing and I can interpret blood testing.
How long will I need therapy?
Depth work takes time, and everyone’s process is different. Many clients work with me weekly for several months or longer. Some stay for a shorter focused period; others choose long-term therapeutic support. You’re never locked in — we review regularly and move at your pace.
Do you offer short-term therapy?
Yes, if it fits your needs. Some clients come for 6–12 sessions to explore a specific pattern or transition. Others prefer ongoing work. We discuss this together so it feels right for you.
Do you work online or in person?
I currently only offer online sessions.
Do you offer one-off sessions?
For psychotherapy, no — depth work requires continuity and safety. For nutritional therapy, one-off sessions are included within the structured programmes, not standalone. If you’re unsure, we can discuss which structure fits best.
Do you offer medical testing?
Functional testing can be included in nutritional therapy programmes where clinically appropriate. It’s always optional and never pushed.
Can I switch pathways later?
Yes. Many clients begin with one pathway and transition into the other when their needs change. You have full flexibility.
